Diploma of Project Management (BSB51413)

This new 2014 qualification reflects the role of individuals who manage projects in a variety of contexts, across a number of industry sectors. They have project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives. They possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate their own work and/or the work of others.The content covers the project lifecycle, from objective to outcomes and is aligned with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Guide, 5th Edition. Topics covered include the management of project scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk and procurement, stakeholders, integration along with planning, teams and continuous improvement.

Certificate IV in Project Management Practice (BSB41513)

This new 2014 qualification reflects the role of individuals who identify and apply project management skills and knowledge in a wide variety of contexts. They may be members of a project team but with no direct responsibility for the overall project outcomes. They support project operations in one or more roles and under direction may also use project tools and methodologies selectively to support organisational or business activities. They take responsibility for their own outputs in terms of organisational and project quality requirements, and may have limited responsibility for the output of others.The content covers the project lifecycle, from objective to outcomes and is aligned with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Guide, 5th Edition. Topics covered include project scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, information/communications, risk, contract law and integration.

Diploma of Management (BSB51107)

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are engaged to manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices. Their role may be in any industry or organisational setting. Typically people in these roles will have considerable experience in their respective industries or vocational areas and combine an informed perspective of specific work requirements with their managerial approaches. The qualification requires a sound theoretical knowledge base and managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate own work or the work of a team.

Diploma of Quality Auditing (BSB51607)

This qualification provides critical skills and knowledge in quality audit initiation, leading, participating and reporting. Both the technical aspects of auditing are covered and the people skills required to work with audit teams, clients and other stakeholders. It is ideal for internal and external auditors, those seeking compliance with legislative and ISO standards or people conducting regulatory or licensing quality management system audits.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)

This qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Achievement of this qualification or an equivalent by trainers and assessors is a requirement of the Australian Quality Training Framework Essential Standards for Registration.This qualification is also suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in a workplace context, as a component of a structured VET or non-VET program.
